On the Isle of Capri

Wow, that gorgeous dress I blogged about last night sold out in a heartbeat, as I knew it would.  Miss Mucho is selling a 1970s-does-30s dress that has many of the same lovely design elements and is much less expensive than a 1930s frock might be.  This one makes me want to sing out the lyrics to "Isle of Capri" and sip exotic cocktails on a sunny patio somewhere.  Sometimes that's the beauty of fashion styles coming back around (and often in a less delicate form)! Case in point: I'm definitely loving 1930s or 30s style tropical floral evening dresses: perfect for a couple of somewhat formal events I've got coming up this summer.
