Despite my deco dreaming, at the end of the day, the reality is that, for now at least, I'm just a landlocked prairie girl from the suburban wilds of Edmonton. That didn't stop me from bringing 30s beach style to the North side today in the form of my newly acquired deadstock 30s beach pyjamas. I wore them while working on listings in my shop and I have to say I really dig my new work "uniform." SOMEDAY, maybe they'll get taken for a spin at one of the local beaches (Sylvan Lake, perhaps)? In the mean-time, these jazzy babies are rocking' the suburbs!

Wowza! What an eye catching print - so jealous! They make great PJs, but in a dress I'd be in heaven! They'll definitely stand out on the shores of Pigeon or Sylvan ;)
Beach pajamas always look so sophisticated to me and yours are no exception!
Thanks, gals!!!
I so dig these - gorgeous print and colours!
You look an absolute dream in those enchanting beach pyjamas, I've never seen any so pretty and so elegant! A wonderful look on you dear Jill! And you know how much a love sun parasols :)
Not sure if you saw my message on etsy, so a big thank you again for the glorious pink dress and your sweet note, I promise I'll email you a customer pic soon! Here's to the first of what will hopefully be many purchases in years to come.
Oh so pretty! I found shoes almost like that one day from the flea market, now I am regretting that I didn't buy them. Looks sooo awesome!
Gorgeous!!! I can't believe you found them deadstock; what a catch! The print looks amazing, especially with your deco green accessories!
Such stunning colours, you look like perfection! :) x
You look absolutely wonderful! Never would I dare to call you a "landlocked prairie girl", never!
Loving the glasses.
Adoring the umbrella!
Have a great day

How fabulous! I've made a pair of 30s beach pjs and they are ridiculously fun to wear! :)
Fabulous!! I'm mostly a 1940s/1950s gal, but I have to say, your blog has inspired me to try some 1930s styles (especially hair!) I really love the red/white sailor dress you showed last week. Love.
What a lovely print! The outfit suits you very well. Just lovely!
Love it, of course! But I have to ask - do you have to take the whole thing off to go to the bathroom? I've had outfits like that before, and they drove me crazy! ;)
They are really gorgeous I love beach pajamas and the shoes definitely make the outfit (the parasol sure doesnt hurt either)

Thanks, gals! I do love it and am happy to matches my green shoes!!
Beth, this one isn't so bad, but yes, you have undo the ties at the waist, and then pull it off the shoulders and down.
Oh my gosh you look heavenly! xxx

Utterly beach-utiful vintage summer pajamas. You look so immensely elegant, chic, and stylish!!!

I love it- you are definitely living in the wrong era (or the right one?)! And having just picked up a surprise sunburn, I think I could use some beach pyjama coverage for the next little while...!
Eeps! Thank you!!!! I do feel like I suit modern garb less and less. They often knew how to make clothes with style and comfort balanced in the 30s!
Oooh! Great pattern!!
Thanks, Michelle xoxo
I just about fell off my chair! I can't imagine a better owner for this gem, it's pure fate.

Aw, thank you so much, Sara!!! I so admire the way you integrate vibrant vintage colours into your gorgeous look, so that's a high compliment, indeed :)
This is absolutely fabulous! You look very stylish.
