Floribunda with D&G

Ok, wow!!! Dolce & Gabbana Fall/Winter's 2013 "Baroque" collection is knocking my socks off. Probably because it is clearly drawing on vintage styles and details (namely needlepoint work on handbags & clothing akin to what you see on 20s and 30s 'bohemian' items [and 50s/60s frame purses], and vibrant floral prints which seem drawn from still-lifes painted by the Masters).  Luckily, you can find similar vintage purses for much more wallet-friendly versions of these looks.  Vintage clothing with such stunning patterning might be harder to come by (though I LOVE this 30s dress) , but Anthro is carrying some items with a similar vibe, like this blouse or this dress, which I sheepishly admit, I got as an early Xmas present from my family when they had their big "black friday" sale.  Outfit pics to come!
