Sandal Stripes

Okay, skipping over the blossoms and heading back to the beach again.  LOVED the images of 1930s striped beach shoes/sandals posted by Wearing History a short while ago more than words could express, but these are so scarce!  Found a gorgeous pair of striped wedges over at Anthropologie that may be a far cry from the real 30s mccoys but still have the fun cabana stripes.  Put those at the top of my annual Baronial "Greedy Guts" birthday list :)

I love the pair in the illustration! It's hard to believe they were only 95¢!

They should work well with beach pyjamas
