Fancy Fabulousity from the Pages of L'Officiel

Since I'm going to be camping this weekend, I thought I would post some very fancy and fabulous images from the pages of 1930s L'Officiel magazine.  One needs something beautiful and transcendent to think of as one is lying on the hard ground being devoured by black flies.  Fingers crossed the mosquitoes aren't big enough to carry me away in the night.  Toodles until Sunday or Monday (I hope?!)!!

Ahhhh, makes my little heart skip a beat! Lovely photos. Makes me think about the WALL of burnout velvet I just saw at the fancy Mood Fabric store. I wonder if anyone has used modern velvets to any success in a 30s style garment? Maybe even for a sleeve like the striped sleeve featured? Mmmm..the possibilies!
