Well, so much for being too busy to blog. I've pushed a lot of my big projects to the weekend, so decided to do more posting. Today was SO warm and sunny, I had to get outside in the backyard and pretend I was on holiday somewhere warm. While I was out there, I thought I'd snap some more pics of THE 1930s floursack sailor dress requested by some of you.

It is a great dress, I love it. I have always harbored a secret love for sailor dresses and I feel validated when I see a great dress like this. Congrats on a great find.
I totally was outbid on that pattern, I hope Lauren from Wearing History got it so she can reproduce it for our greedy little hands!!! It is soooo smashing.
gaaa! Bombshell, you're right. That's fantastic. I had thrown that pattern image up here just for fun (nudeedudee, I might have gotten that image from your flickr feed???). That would be a FANTABULOUS dress to add to the nudeedudee line of bespoke garments! To be honest, I wish my sailor had that back. It gets a little warm wearing a covered back in these temperatures!!!
