Homespun Sweetness on a Rainy Afternoon
So, I was lucky enough to get a lot of six 1930s to 1940s feedsack dresses recently and since it has been raining off and on for a few days now, I've decided to set about giving them a little TLC before I put them in the shop. The first one was listed yesterday and it sold in a matter of seconds, which makes me so happy that I am not the only one who sees there's something so special and sweet about vintage feedsack dresses. The most pristine of the bunch is currently listed. Four more to come. With their darling striped, floral, and gingham patterns and, in the case of three of the six in this lot, with their rather endearing little "beauty marks" in the form of worn rickrack, uneven stitches, homespun patches and repairs, they have so much character and humble sweetness.
