Ringing in the New Year Right

In the vintage world, deadstock items (never worn or used vintage items with shop tags still on) are the holy grail. How about a deadstock 1920s hat in a rare 22" size? Believe me, friends, this find rang my bell!  Sold quick as lightening on layaway over at Moon River Mercantile.

That is knock-me-over-with-a-feather incredible. To think an item had been able to remain NOS/dead stock for nearly a century. It's simply marvelous - and makes one wonder, how many other unworn items from the roaring 20s (or earlier) still exist out there (hopefully waiting to be found and adored by our ilk).
