Hot & Cold, Revisited

Hello, June! Glad to greet you! May you be filled with sultry days punctuated by cool ocean breezes! All I want to wear are halter tops, flowy trousers, and floppy hats a la these beauties on the cover of McCall's Magazine, c. 1934.

It was 97 last Sunday. Today it's 54. I'm wearing a wool sweater. ;)

I do love these two images, I adore the entire outfit in the first one. The hat in the second one is rather astounding!

I just saw a Ralph Lauren halter exactly like the one in the top photo except it was black. So cute!

I love the top image. The hat especially. I need to get sewing!

Love the images! Hopefully June hears our pleas, woke this morning to grey skies, cool temps and a rain storm.

Beautiful prints! I think I want to make those blue trousers now, or is it a skirt?
I found your blog from.... somewhere (clicking link after link, forgot my starting point!) and I'm following now! Love your stuff. xxx

Oh my, it sounds like the GTA is in for another sweltering summer again this year. Here on the west coast (or at least in the Okanagan) it's still a bit too soon to tell what kind of season we're shaping up for. Spring was late in coming and temps are still averaging a tad below normal, so it's tricky to know if we're in for a scorcher this year or not, too.

Wishing you a stellar weekend,
♥ Jessica
