The Sweetest Summer Sandals

I was recently elated to notice that no fewer than three styles of Re-mix shoes resemble 1930s 'sandals' circa 1936.  My particular favourite (that came home with me) is the Emily, but I was tempted by the Bloomsbury as well (I thought the slingback made them just a touch less perfect for dancing, but they come with both ribbon and string laces!). The 'cloche' style is very 30s, too (looks akin to the pair second from bottom at right in the Sears Sandal ad), but the 3 1/2" heel was just a bit too high for me. Too bad these modern vintage repro's don't sell for vintage pricing, but in my humble opinion, my other two pairs of re-mix shoes (one of which I got for a great sale price on ebay) have been well worth the investment. Expect to see the Emily showcased in future outfit posts! I can already tell they'll be perfect with beach pyjamas :)

Oh gosh, in that yellow color - I love them all, but that yellow screams SUMMMMER!

Wonderfully lovely shoes! The heel height looks so comfortable and easy to walk for miles in. A point that is, to my mind, all the more important with warm weather shoes.

Thank you sweetly for your comment today, dear gal, I hope the list of search terms proves helpful for you, too.

Have a marvelous Friday,
Jessica
