Elegant Allusions, Impossible Conversations

I'm more than a little behind the times here, but I just wanted to note that I thought Kirsten Dunst's 30s Schiaparelli inspired ensemble at the MET 2012 gala was so chic! What did you think?

Interesting clip from the MET's "Impossible Conversations: Schiaparelli and Prada" exhibit

I really like the fact that she dare to wear something like this at such an event where all the girls usually want to be all glittery and stuff! She looks strong and sexy!

I'm not really feeling the way she has it belted, but what a nice ensemble!

(Also, how startlingly awesome is the shade of yellow of that dress in the background? It keeps drawing my eye away...)

I'm with the others when I say loooove the suit its very chic! But a black belt! Why?! The buckle is gorgeous though, just needs a cream/orange strap! x

I do like how unexpected and unique this outfit was, especially in context with the other frothy gowns. However, I too do wonder why that belt. Strange rather than appropriately surreal?

Glamorous Housewife...I WISH I could see it. Hope you get to. If so, please blog it!!! :)
