Continuing on with the Anthro idea that elements drawn from early 30s beach pajama/resort dress ensembles can work as part of a modern day/street wear look, I'm eager to integrate the sleeveless bolero jacket/vest idea into my wardrobe this year. As luck would have it, I just scored an early 30s beauty on the 'bay! Watch for it in future outfit posts, once it arrives and I'm in warmer climes! I'm thinking of wearing it like the gal on the cover of Modes et Travaux at bottom of the page: over a white dress.

Oh the joy of stumbling across a vintage gem, I wish you sunny skies so you can step out in style! x
I can't wait to see it! I love the bolero vest in the center picture, just another reminder that I need to learn how to sew..
Thanks!! Emily & Gracie, that's the one I won! Yay! Sewing would be advantageous, especially if you're like me: wanting one in every colour and pattern HAHA!
Cute vest, good find! I love how flattering that length and cut is when worn! Maybe I'll take a cue from you and try to find one, too... :)
How yummy!
Lovely! I was given an extensive collection of Modes et Travaux from the 30s by my Swiss grandparents, I have always adored them, gorgeous pictures and gorgeous clothes from my favorite style era!
I would love love love an outfit like the one in the third image...sigh...
Oh lord I'm in LOVE with the 30s jumpsuits ... remembering to breathe ... xo
