A River Runs Through It
Inspired by the Montgomery Ward ladies in the last post, as well as 20s women's clothing I spied on the character Jessie Burns during a recent re-viewing of the movie A River Runs Through It, I cobbled together a little outfit post. Shoes, hat, and tie are vintage; sweater from the Gap ages ago, and skirt from Puttin' on the Ritz!

Love it! Especially the argyle tights! I adore argyle.
Lovely! That Gap sweater is fabulous, so great when you can find a great vintage inspired piece. Then you can wash it, abuse it.. all without guilt or worry :)

I absolutely love this. & this is a lovely reminder of how much I liked that movie--and to try to rewatch it.
