Chocolate Mint

Before I fell ill at the end of my L.A. trip, I had intended on wearing this little "chocolate mint" plaid jumper ensemble I had had custom made for the vacation.  30s style jumper/suspender skirt by Time Machine Vintage, 30s style blouse by NudeeDudee.

Oh, I love it! I have a pattern very similar but it's from the 80's. I may have to try to make a few this fall. The colors and print are fantastic!! x

I think chocolate and mint are one of the prettiest color combinations around! That ensemble is just the sweetest; it looks so authentic! So sorry your illness cut things short :(

you dear sweet gals. thank you! I'm sure I'm a little too busty and a little too aged for such spritely style, but I love it and will probably wear the jumper lots to dance class. The blouse is too divine. I can see it going with lots of my other separates. Anyway, thank you so much for your comments. As ever, I am grateful for them!! xoxo

Britney: I used to wear these types of skirts in the 80s, so it's no surprise I'm gravitating back towards them again. Cool that you have a pattern you can use! FUN!

We are never too old to wear pretty clothes!!! If I have a 24'' waist you can be sure I would worn vintage teenage skirts, I'm so jealous of my friends who can wear that kind of clothes...
You look gorgeous in this skirt!
