If These are YOUR striped pyjamas...

If you are the lucky so-and-so who nabbed these AMAZING 30s striped seersucker pyjamas, you'd better thank your lucky stars (and stripes!!).  Aren't they HEAVENLY??? I can totally picture the glamourous lady who strutted down a beach on the cote d'azure in these once upon a deco dream!

it's a heartbreaking story, really: I was surfing on ebay, came across an auction for them ending in 8 days. I waited a few hours then went to put my bid in (I was gonna throw down for these); the auction had ended!!!! I contacted the seller praying that they were just relisting, etc. Nope! They had sold. I have a feeling someone offered them an obscene amount to cancel the auction and let them "buy it now." OUCH! Anyhow, I'm consoled by the arrival of a pretty amazing little vintage set that I think you will LOVE (the fabric is ridiculously awesome). I'm trying to decide whether to blog the outfit or wait to debut the ensemble in California in Sept. Stay tuned :)

I am heartbroken too after having come across a pair that would have fitted like a dream; the auction ended though for a price I cannot dream to pay, if you'll excuse the pun. Not that I expect to come across anything like that cheaply, but a limitation is exactly that, a limitation. The one thing that keeps me going is that I have a first custom made project in the pipe a the moment and that is meant to bring me at last a pair of beach pyjamas...If I could only see it brought into reality...

I try to stay away from ebay because the whole bidding thing really stresses me out! I just want it now!

Those are some awesome beach pajamas; someone out there is very lucky!
