"New" Bow

Sometimes, desires outweigh necessities...case in point, I just couldn't say no to this incredible late 1920s "bow" gown.  Uh, hello, Schiaparelli-inspired trompe-l'oeil front bow!?!?! Whaaaaaaa!

One of Schiaparelli's 1927 "trompe l'oeil" knit bow sweaters

My new "bow" dress, Nelson Bridge

Lovely dress indeed. Actually I like it a lot better than the famous jumper design.

Can't wait to see how you accessorize that gorgeous dress!

I actually have the Schiaparelli trompe l'oeil sweater in my Ravelry queue; I'm just a little afraid of the Armenian technique...
