Snow Day

Although I am in the mood to sally forth in my favourite cotton frocks, since the snow just won't seem to go, I decided not to fight it and took at least part of my 30s snowsuit for an outing. Might as well enjoy what we've got while we've got it!

to my darling husband: no, these are NOT purple MC hammer pants, but thanks for saying so anyway :) hehe

How wonderful! A 30s snowsuit is on on my top wish list. You look wonderful! Love that jacket!

I am laughing out loud at what I can only assume was your husband's comment from the peanut gallery. :)

The weather is once again miserable here, but no snow on the ground (just as well, it quickly gets ugly in the city whereas it looks delightful by you). I love how vibrant you look against the shades of brown and white in the background.

Ooh, cute! I really love the cut of the jacket. Looks cozy! I would love to see real snow, one day (but not to live amongst it, I think).

The red jacket really pops against the rustic scenery. I'm definitely not missing the snow but it's cold enough here to wear a snowsuit!

I wish I could find snow suit like this, I'm lookinf for that type of trousers for ages !!!
You look gorgeous, as usual !

haha, for some reason the mister just does not like these trousers. Also, he keeps insisting they are purple!! These aren't vintage. I got them HERE http://www.etsy.com/listing/62659523/1930s-1940s-wide-leg-side-button-pants
but having danced away a few winter pounds, they are now too big!

in his defence, I will now agree that I probably should invest in a flat front pair of trousers. With my wide hips, any gathering, pleating, whatnot, really does nothing for. Anyway, thanks for your kind words! I do love the jacket!
