Be still, my beating heart! This is probably the most amazing "valentines" 30s gown I will ever offer
in my shop. Yes, that's right... this little beauty is made of a white cotton voile type fabric with cinnamon red hearts printed all over it!!! If this fit me, I would never be letting it go, but alas, it's 'tres petite," (it just barely fit on "Hazel," the dress form's 35.5-26.6-36 figure) and therefore it is destined to be the dream frock of some other!
Oh that's so pretty - I love the back - such a contrast to the prim neckline at the front. Its fantastic!
ReplyDeleteWoo-woo!! Look at the back on that baby!
ReplyDeleteOh my GOD! I want to start starving myself just to fit into that. Who needs food when I could be wearing a dress that amazing! I'm definitely saving these pictures to try and whip up my own Tami-sized version. What an amazing find!
ReplyDeleteoh my god the back of it is incredible! the front is fabulous too of course! now i need a lesson in this "voile"....
ReplyDeleteWow, can anything be cuter than that?
ReplyDeleteIsn't that scrumptious? I could see Harlow wearing it for a night on the town with Powell!
ReplyDeleteI adore the cut out back!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous dress. Oh, what a surprise when I saw the back of the dress, I'd never have guessed it would be like that after seeing the prim and proper front view.
ReplyDeleteWOW! What a stunner!
ReplyDeleteOMG. So beautiful! This actually looks very similar to a pattern I am using to make my own valentine's day dress (it's from 1934)!!!
ReplyDeleteOh it's so cute! The back is really unique!
ReplyDeleteI liked it from the first picture. But then I saw the back - and now I am in love!! Stunning!
ReplyDeleteHow gorgeous is the back of that dress?!
ReplyDeleteThe back is divine, non? I agree that it sort of has two personalities: demure in front and sultry in back (avalon76: YES, Harlow should have worn such a thing on the town with Mr. P!!!)
ReplyDeleteDebi: I can't wait to see your dress!!! Are you using that "Manhattan Melodrama" pattern Lauren came out with a while back?
Miss Tami Lee: I agree: I need a Jill-sized one of these mamas!
LOVE!!!!!! That dress is what dreams are made of. x
ReplyDeleteYou are a temptress, and that dress is amazing! Alas, I have too much junk in my trunk to even hope to fit into it!
ReplyDeleteMy goodness, the back of it is BEAUTIFUL!
ReplyDeletejust as well I am FAT
ReplyDeleteooooooooo, so lovely. I've managed to lose an inch all over post Xmas but alas I'm still over an inch too big all over... wa! x
