Flapper Spring Fashion Forecasts

Don't get me wrong...the longing for clothes as light and pretty as spun candy and macarons has already begun.  Can't get enough of the pastel pink, yellows, blues, and greens which spring clothes (and handtinted postcards!) from the late 20s and early 30s display to best advantage! I've probably posted at least one of these videos many times over, but who cares? I want flapper clothing eye candy!

Not handy enough to make them yourself?

hullo, blogger! Make what? The dresses? The hats? The videos?

All of the above? :P

You start with a hat to get into it, then move on to a dress and finish with a video of your creation. :D Or maybe even a video tutorial of yourself making it.

You can find patterns online. Not sure if you're good at sewing, though.

I LOVE these video! I adore the felt hats...especially the first one with the matching bag--SWOON. I also loved the flapper dress with the feathers attached to the beaded bird. wow! Thanks for posting these gems.

my pleasure!!

Hi, again, Renate! I actually do sew in my spare time and have an early 30s "valentine" dress on the go. Then, I may perhaps tackle hat making! As for my own videos, though, I just don't have ready access to early film footage or I would!!

Oh, Debi, I LOVE that felt appliqued set, too. Maybe I'll try to make something like that. Sigh...SO many projects, SO little time!!
