Fashion Family Tree, Part One

Lauren of Dear Golden has done some fun blog posts before in which she notes "family" resemblances between frocks in her shop.  Along those same lines, last night, it occurred to me that a 1930s dress I just listed looks like a long lost forebearer of a 1950s dress that has been listed for a while.  What do you think?

They look like sisters - different, but the same ;)

Ha! What a fun way to look at it. I'd say mother and daughter. :-)

I like very much the 1930s one, and would like to snatch it immediately, but unfortunately my hips are too large for it.

The 30s dress is gorgeous, I noticed it in your shop.
There may be some family connection: I know for sure that while I like the 30s frock my mother would go for the 50's one :)
