The Ultimate Baronial Frocks

Okay, my 60s detour was fun, but who am I kidding?  These days it is truly frocks like these, from Wearing History's stellar shop, that take me to vintage baroness clothing heaven.  My inner 30s clotheshorse is gutted but my pocketbook is grateful that these absolutely amazing items don't fit, although I'm half tempted to buy 'em just to display as the kind of art I could stare at and drool over forever.  If any of you buys these, dear bloggers, you must PROMISE to post pictures of yourself wearing them or cherishing them (with care, of course)!!!  SWOON!!!! Okay, I really do need to stop procrastinating... though all I can think of is how I can get me some of these in my size.  Hehe.

*drooling all over my keyboard* I don't know which one is more beautiful....thank goodness that autumn is just around the corner and wool suiting will be on sale! Hello, sewing machine!
That first one has a little bit of Victorian flair to it, don't you think? I love that!

Ditto on the drooling!!!

Brittany: I AGREE.. MUST dust off the sewing machine! I also completely agree about the Victorian flair. In fact, I was just reading a 30s pattern book that was talking about all the different ways that 19th century fashion detailing was influencing 30s fashion at exactly this time. I am CERTAIN that part of my 30s obsession is rooted in my Victorianist background as well. 30s clothes are like more wearable versions of 1890s ones ;)

love them, especially the first one, it is absolute perfection, and you know what, it would fit too... shame my interests never match my financial possibilities, or rather the other way around.
