Sorry So Scarce!

Hello, all! Sorry I've been so scarce lately, but I've been going through a rather trying time this past week. You see, after returning from our lovely, restful vacation, we were met with the sad news that the wife of our next-door neighbour had suddenly passed.  While she was 67 with a medical history of cardiovascular issues, the news was still very shocking and devastating.  I think it hit me especially hard because she and her husband had been in our yard the day before mowing the lawn and doing a little weeding of the corner garden, just because that was what they loved to do.  I *think* I'm almost back to my baronial self, but it may take a while longer to get over this.  Anyway, just wanted you to know that I'm sort of here and if I haven't been commenting on your blogs or responding to your comments on my blog, you should know that this is why. Much love. xoxo.

So sorry to hear about your neighbor.
Pour yourself a cuppa tea and take time to remember her, cherish those memories, let the tears fall as they may and whenever you are ready, maybe you could tell us a little about your friend.
We'll be here whenever you are :)

Oh baroness, you are missed, but don't you know that you shouldn't feel you have to apologize for doing what you need to do? Take heart, dear friend... may she, your neighbor, be finally at peace... friends will not abandon you...

Hugs, always...

I think it is actually quite lovely that the last time you saw her she was doing exactly what she would loved doing.

Thank you thank you thank you all. I'm still deciding on when and how to make my blogger come back. In the end, I didn't know this neighbour overly well, but the whole way that this sad event was told to me, etc, was stressful and traumatic, so it has sort of dredged up all sorts of other past events, anxieties, and so forth. Working through it and we'll see what happens! xoxo
