Plaid Perfection

Good morning, LOVELIES!  Some may call this gown below (available in Kinfaun's shop on Etsy) fussy and outlandish, but I call it plaid perfection.  Yet another thing I love about the 30s. Plaid was big for day AND evening wear! The puffed sleeves and bow are so darling they are positively edible.  Unfortunately, the size and the light color of the main body of the dress do not suit this Baroness. But it's a great image to keep for future inspiration...

I agree, gorgeous dress! I wouldn't have thought that the plaid would look good but it really does!! I'm really feeling the 30's vibe lately. You're so inspiring!!

I like the '30s style plaid. When I wear plaid, it's mostly the '90s grunge look!

I like this. It's like a dress with a massive bow-tie, an item of clothing of which I have always dreamt.

Beautiful, I absolutely love it! Plaid is lovely I think, and has such old fashioned charm...

yep, seen this one this morning, it's actually my size, but that background color is not for me (i don't even know what color that is)

that's just a way of persuading myself that grapes are sour..

I love that dress and I'd just about fit into it. Though I'm not quite sure if my electricity providers would take that for an excuse for spending money on it instead of the bills...

That's a beautiful dress and it would be my size... But it's no more shopping for me right now. No no.

I just LOVE the dress! Too bad it is way too small for me, heh.

Reality bites, doesn't it ;) I'd call that colour putty? or dove grey? or bisque? hard to tell as I think it also has some color variation going on.

thanks baroness, the "dove grey" will do!
nothing to do with grey works for me, so there's all the reassurance that i needed ! :)
