Cleaning Out My Vintage Closet (Part One)

Hold on to your wallets, folks!  Over the next while, I am going to be listing a number of items (many from the 1930s and 40s) from my own personal collection in my Etsy shop.  Here is a sampling.  If anything catches your eye, convo me via the shop to reserve!

ITEM #1:  Late 1930s-40s Playsuit with original matching skirt and belt (I'm almost certain it's made of vintage floursack/feedsack)

Item #2: Ginger Rogers-worthy 1930s peach satin blouse with wool applique shadow design.  Exquisite.  Wish it fit me better!!!

Item #3: RARE 1930s sheer cotton voile floral day dress.  Hurry before I change my mind!!

Item #4: 1930s floaty floral organdy garden party dress

Item #5: 1930s cotton house frock.  LOVE the red and white plaid!!!

Item #6: 1940s Silk chiffon and lace illusion dress.  Petal pink.

Item #7: 1930s deep plum rayon dress with GORGEOUS floral cut-out detail on bodice!!

More items coming. . .

I have no idea how you could part with these marvels of vintage glory... but that first outfit is too-die-for. Gorgeous, baroness, but then again, I would expect nothing less. :)

A girl's gotta know when to share the wealth, so although I have little separation pangs, I know that there are vintage lovers out there who will give my lovelies wonderful new homes and lives, and I'll have a little coin to do some nice things as well. Sorry to tempt. ;)

Oh my, why do you taunt me so? I don't get paid until the end of September and typically, lots of lovely clothes are catching my eye! I hope you find a loving home for these beautiful dresses x

Oh dear. My favorite thing is the playsuit, but I just know it will be out of my range. Which is next to nothing at the moment. I must get a job. . .

Kir, if it's any consolation, that playsuit sold within minutes.

Sorry, Kate ;)! You must have to have the best budgeting skills EVER!
