After a few days of rain, it was so lovely to go for a drive in the country on Sunday afternoon. Our original goal was to check out a series of antique shops, but the map we had been using was wrong, so most of the shops were no longer in existence. In the end, I had a much better time enjoying the blue, blue skies and blushing blossoms showering down from the rows upon rows of apple trees in the orchards that are quite abundant in our surrounding area. As the weather was still a bit cool, I wore a 1930s crocheted sweater from one of my beloved sets and paired it with a pair of plaid trousers, my beloved brown 30s shoes (not the best orchard footwear, so I had to tread lightly), and my "new" 1950s bird box purse (thanks to the gal behind ADORE vintage for helping me find it!)

What a cute little purse/box. So lovely. And I miss blossom. I really want proper Autumn weather but blossom is just so beautiful.
