Okay, I think you get the point. My brain is on vacation. Like Myrna Loy's Connie Allenbury in Libeled Lady (which I'm off to watch now), I want to hide under a big sunhat on the deck of a cruise ship bound for some warm locale with a good book, and I want to stay that way until July!

I got the Loy-Powell Box set of DVDs for Xmas, so I've definitely acquired a full-blown obsession with this duo. I'd like to go back in a time machine and become Myrna's bff (and steal all her wardrobe) and make W. P. fall madly in love with me ;)

Myrna Loy and William Powell were the best, especially in the Thin Man movies. THE BEST on- screen couple of all time! And of course, let's not forget Asta!
