Hope my American blog friends enjoyed their Thanksgiving dindins! Cranberry goes well with more than turkey, y'know. To whit, I think the cranberry details at the neck and sleeves of this 20s silk dress work rather well. Gobble, gobble!

The burgundy color on you is perfection! It really compliments your skin and hair tone.
Thanks doll,

The sleeve details are darling! What a lovely colour combination.
So pretty! I love those cranberry ruffles! Stunning outfit!!!
Such a gorgeous dress, a stunning ensemble and a lovely lady!
Thanks, gals! In retrospect, after consulting with some 30s experts, we think this frock may even be from around 1931-ish. Seems like a "cusper" dress at any rate--from 1929-1932??? I do love burgundy/cranberry, etc, so the ruffles are an added treat!
you look stunning, jill.
Thank you, darling!
How gorgeous! yes, it does seem to have those in between eras details and look that I love most ...There is something about late 20's early 30s designs that is very special and unique. I am loving it!
Amazing dress. Love the purse aswell. You look impeccable - again!
Absolutely stunning! I might have to borrow the look of this dress by pairing these two colours together in an upcoming sewing project! I just love it!
Delightful! Hope you had a great Thanksgiving!
Beautiful dress!
