Fabulous Flapper Footwear!

Yesterday, I had an amazing time with my new friend, Mugsy; we met at the Bata Shoe Museum in Toronto to take in the "Roaring 20s" shoe exhibit and BOY was it worth the visit, though it was soo cold and rainy out, I had to opt for a 30s knit sweater and longer 30s style nudeedudee skirt (with Re-mix shoes), instead of a lovely 20s ensemble.  Anyway, have a peek at what we saw!! Which pair is your favourite? Can you guess which ones I wanted to take home?

Can't possibly choose just one favourite!
Those heels with the rhinestones reminded me of my finals exams at university, for the fashion exam we were given one of these in an envelope and had to write an essay about it.

Ohhh, how divine! I wish we had a shoe museum near me, hehe; what a place! I am in love with them all, but the gold starburst heels are particularly extraordinary!!

Incredible! I like best the belack leather ones in the third pic, the lizard skin ones in the last pic, and - probably most - the patterned silk ones, specifically the creamy ones with the flower/fan shape print/embroidery.

Ooh good grief, what an exhibit! I particularly like the blue ones in the last photo, the pair in navy with peach flowers, and the bright green ones with the button closures. Although the flat pair with the wings are amazing. The description was talking about sports, so I assume they were sporting shoes of some sort? Wow!

(And your green knit sweater I just adore!!)

Tasha, those winged ones are BATHING SHOES!!! Amazing, non?

I love to visit fashion exhibition!!! All items seem to be so precious... you can have the same outfit from a thrift shop, but in an exhibit behind a window it seem to cost miilion $...
Yes, we want other pictures!!!

My favorite fashion museum is in Paris, the Galleria Palace! Have you ever been in Paris?
