Before I fell ill at the end of my L.A. trip, I had intended on wearing this little "chocolate mint" plaid jumper ensemble I had had custom made for the vacation. 30s style jumper/suspender skirt by Time Machine Vintage, 30s style blouse by NudeeDudee.
Chic as always.
Oh, I love it! I have a pattern very similar but it's from the 80's. I may have to try to make a few this fall. The colors and print are fantastic!! x
Oh that dress is fabulous! I love the colours and the fit, so retrò! A perfect vintage look!!!!
Congrats, you've got your jumper dress and looking very cute!
That's adorable! I'm so sorry your trip ended like that! It just means you have to come back! =)
Love the jumper. That green color is beautiful.
I think chocolate and mint are one of the prettiest color combinations around! That ensemble is just the sweetest; it looks so authentic! So sorry your illness cut things short :(
Oh goodness, you are just too amazing! Those colors are lovely, and I love the jumper style!
This is darling and a perfect look on you :)
you dear sweet gals. thank you! I'm sure I'm a little too busty and a little too aged for such spritely style, but I love it and will probably wear the jumper lots to dance class. The blouse is too divine. I can see it going with lots of my other separates. Anyway, thank you so much for your comments. As ever, I am grateful for them!! xoxo
Britney: I used to wear these types of skirts in the 80s, so it's no surprise I'm gravitating back towards them again. Cool that you have a pattern you can use! FUN!
Hey, that's unique. Never saw anything like that. Very pretty! Mary
Doll, your posts always make my heart beat faster! I wish i could find someone that would do custom, authentic clothing for me...even just one or two items....sigh...till then shall just thoroughly enjoy your posts!
We are never too old to wear pretty clothes!!! If I have a 24'' waist you can be sure I would worn vintage teenage skirts, I'm so jealous of my friends who can wear that kind of clothes...
You look gorgeous in this skirt!
I love seeing what those old patterns look like on people other than the illustrations. Looks marvelous!
Love, love, LOVE!
Oooh, this reminds me of how badly I wanted to make a jumper style dress... to etsy! If I can look half as fabulous as you I'll be content!
Yay! Happy to see the pieces together, you look amazing!
