I'm on the
Boardwalk Empire/Flapper Fashion Comeback wagon and I don't care who knows it. Actually, I was on that wagon before I knew there was one. On the subject, here is
another 20s garment just added to my shop (the garment in question is the lace jacket), accompanied by another of
Glamour Daze's dreamy videos... swoon! OH, by the way, it looks like I am very likely going to amalgamate my shop blog,
Adeline's Attic, with this one. This means I'll be getting rid the shop blog and followers of
Tea with the Vintage Baroness may have to put up with some shop related plugs and "sneak peeks," but then I've usually been posting about my shop on this blog a lot as well anyway, which is sort of why I think condensing the two into just this blog is making sense to me now.

I love this outfit!! The hat is amazing!

LOVE LOVE LOVE the jacket! It might be 20's but it reminds me of the camisole worn by Kate Winslet in Titanic. Off to have a closer look now!
You look Gorgeous!!!
So cute! Wish I had the figure for 20's and 30's styles. Love the hat!
Boardwalk Empire has me so envious of the long curls all the actresses have. I really wish my hair would grow faster so I can wear it like them.
That jacket is really beautiful.
Love it!
Beautiful jacket! This outfit makes you look like you've just walked off the Boardwalk Empire set :D
And I am ever so glad the 20s are coming back in fashion, I hope there will be more 20s style things available in the shops as it is so hard to get ones hands on authentic 20s pieces that are in wearable condition...
that jacket is beyond beautiful! and you look amazing, i've looked at the pics in your shop, you are just divine, and modeling those frocks to perfection!
You embodied the Elegance with a big "E"
oh wow, thanks for the kind words!!! I love trying on 20s items for the shop, but it's quite frustrating being rather pear shaped. I can get my shoulders and arms into many 20s garments that have no hope in heck of ever getting over those hips hehe. A few of the 20s dresses in the shop now are more realistically sized, though.
Harlow Darling: Maybe because I'm loving Boardwalk Empire and all, I seem to be finding more 20s garments for the shop than usual, so you may see some wearable dresses coming that way. None are flawless, though. That's the tricky part of loving dresses that are 90 years old and usually silk!
Rachel: it's true...the gals in Boardwalk are sporting the fashions of 1920 so the silhouettes are not yet all high roaring 20s (though the fashionable girls in the Parisian dress shop get to wear those more forward looking styles). Also, their hair is more baby vamp or late Edwardian. No bobs to be seen YET.
You look fabulous!!!
kind thanks, Emily!!
I love the jacket, and the dress! I want them so much it hurts! And they suit you so much, I think it's really your era!
Great outfit! I love the jacket, anything lacy makes me swoon!
