How immensely beautiful! My word, this is like something from a Hollywood set or a glamorous 1930s decor magazine. I'm so happy for you, dear gal, that you've found a home that is so splendidly in line with your tastes. Thank you for sharing some snaps of it with us.
Oh gawd, looking at the pix, I think I recognize that building..if it IS the same one, then I had a friend who lived there at one time and I was GREEN with envy; the apartment was SO FABULOUS! Not just because she was a decorating whiz but fabulously vintage and charming in and of itself, as can be seen from the pics! And BIG, too!
Here's a funny fact: she told me about the "roof rabbit" next door and pointed out the footprints in the snow on the garage roof of the neighbouring house below; sure enough, it DID look like there was in fact a rabbit getting around on the rooftops.. Don't know how it got up there, but the footprints were indubitable!
Whoops, for some reason (something I read elsewhere about you, I think) I thought you were in TORONTO! Now I see you are in EDMONTON, so the building I am thinking of can't be the same one! BUT, in my defense, they do look similar; sort of "Spanish-y" on the outside (white stucco and ironwork)and all retro on the inside!'
FYI, if you are ever looking for an apt. in Toronto, this building's on a street running parallel just to the south of St Clair Avenue and a couple of blocks east of Oakwood, (just past the school).
Oooh love the checkerboard floor and the fireplace. Our duplex has the same doorknobs (as did the house I grew up in). Wouldn't seem like a home without them!

LOVE IT! :) so glad you have a happy place
I have that same space heater and it is currently kept in the fire place. Birds of a feather...
Love the black and white floor and the glass doorknob, and the cute little fireplace. Are you all moved in?
I'm all moved in and happier than I've been for at least over a year. Thank you for your comments and your support, my friends!!
So happy you're getting settled in and in a place you love.
