1930s Chorus Girl Suspender Shorts!

Oh MY! These AMAZING chorus girl suspender shorts for sale in swanee's Etsy shop, are just beyond darling. They are so Ruby Keeler! EEKS!

Ahhh! These are perfect. Could it get any better than a red & white striped cotton/linen blend? Nope, it can't. I've been a bit obsessed with suspender shorts and skirts lately, but I don't know if I could pull it off. I think I need to just sew something up and get it out of my system, as it were. :D

Those are sweet! My mom bought me something similar in the late 1980s, in solid red, which I wore to school with a pair of cute Louis-heel bow-topped shoes like Ruby's. I got called Minnie Mouse right & left. I've seen the 80s version on etsy a lot, but never the vintage original!

lord knows I love to offer up the sartorial s & m! LOL! I would not be able to fit one of my thighs into these beauties, and even if I could I would NOT look like Ruby Keeler (or Minnie....what an adorable story, 1930s Girls!!!) but oh boy are they EVER sweet! aramblingfancy, you should TOTALLY make these!
