Poirot a la Mode

I've been watching a few old episodes of Poirot online and of course the fashions have me re-inspired (and drooling).  One of the best dressed Poirot ladies:  Miss Burgess (played by Lucy Liemann) in Cards on the Table...unsurprisingly, I am ogling her knitwear, especially that green dress at bottom (looks like chenille?).

Oh! I agree! Those Poirot and Miss Marple episodes have the best costumes. Do you remember the Tommy and Tuppance series from way back when (am I dating myself)?

Wonderful! My dream in life is to live in one of the blocks of art deco Mansion Apartments that are dotted around London still, and feature in a few Poirot episodes(that is when he is not in a large country mansion/hotel/or on holiday somewhere sunny)x

I've never seen a Poirot episode, but I've read a few of the original stories! She is so pretty.

Oh ... I love this fashion. I always see that I can find the pattern, but here in Germany is very difficult. Of course, I'm a fan of Poirot and have the entire DVD collection.

Em, that tan number IS glorious as well!

Yesterday Girl: You can be sure you'll have a new room-mate when you realize that deco dream ;)

Diva: Yes, although we're now getting some spring rain, the flowers and grass are all abundant and thriving! To answer your question, YES, I DO wear vintage pretty much every day. When I'm out doing my morning walks, I don't tend to wear anything that could get damaged, but whenever I go out in public or when I'm lounging around the house, I am always wearing at least one piece of vintage!
