Slighty Schia

I love 1930s avant garde hats, and the Piko Paris black velvet 'cossack turban' hat I just found for the shop is no exception.  I see a resemblance to the Schiaparelli hat Cecil Beaton photographed Wallis Simpson wearing for British Vogue in 1935. Would you wear it?

  6. Yes, Wallis Simpson does give one hope that we mere fashion mortals could pull of a deco dunce cap with such élan!

  7. Indeed, I would definitely wear this elegant, artfully shaped topper. The solid black hue and soft fabric lend it a very versatile feel and ability to partner well with an array of looks.

  8. Totally would wear that! It reminds me of a hat I tried on in Paris 25 years ago. I haven't bought it, still regret that.
