Ohhh! So in the second photo, the blue & white floral pattern is a repro of an original feedsack. It's made in several colorways & is done rather nicely (I forgot the name of the company that does it, if anyone else in the comments knows please, feel free to remind me!) Also I'm completely in love with the salmon colored floral gown in the first photo & would love to know if it's vintage or repro.....
This series looks as though it might be good - wonder whether it will ever make it either across the Atlantic or onto a DVD that can be watched in the UK. Nothing more annoying than a good DVD that only plays in the US and Canada:)
Am I wrong to think their hair is too flat on top and curls not tight enough (a quick curling iron job instead a wet set)? Oh well, probably I'm justnitpicking. But many period dramas get spoiled by inaccurate hairstyles.
Funny enough, my dry cleaner told me about this series haha! I believe it's this one anyhow...filmed in Toronto/they did the wardrobe cleaning for it ^^
Looks good! Will have to check it out!!! I live for these series/shows about the past these days...even if they're wearing rags the women still look classy and gorgeous!
