Ferragamo Falls for the 30s

Hehe, either the Salvatore Ferragamo has been reading my blog or my 1930s-resort-fashion-obsessed mind.  Check out some of the pieces in the 2012 resort collection: Halter neck tops, beach pajama/palazzo legged one-pieces, sailor stripes & wide legged trousers, oversized floppy hats!

Good. Now what we need is some of that to filter down to the High Street shops, and I expect it will. So good news for the 2012!

Such lovely outfits, you really can see the 30s influence in the halternecks and nautical trousers!

Wow, that is indeed very interesting! I particularly like the clever use of diagonal lines on the halter and skirt combo!

I could never afford Ferragamo, either, but thought these were interesting inspirational (rather than aspirational?) images! Nadja, you caught me: I forgot the tutorial. Maybe when I get back from my travels next week? Yikes! Sorry about that!
