Some may think black lace is too "Morticia Addams," but, as Kay Francis and other 30s starlets have shown, it can be chic, elegant, and mysteriously alluring. I'm planning to list some 30s lace cocktail dresses and gowns shortly, but I am trying to decide which I want to keep for myself to wear this holiday season, so stay tuned....

wow, just beautiful, those dresses are fantastic, they are taking my breath away! morticia? are you kidding?? black lace is a classic! but i guess, like anything else, it has to suit the wearer - nothing ever will work for everybody.
needless to say i love lace myself...
Ooooh...swanky! Chanel loved using lace in all colours (but particularly black) throughout the 20s and 30s.
