Daytime Wife is a must see film, in my opinion. I probably should have said upper middle class, but since Darnell's character goes to work as a secretary, I feel she is representing the "idealistic" middle class women of the late 30s, early 40s. Regardless, the fashion is inspirational and a the film is quite funny.
