Your dress looks lovely so far, I love the fabric, such great colors.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts on blogging with integrity. I couldn't agree more. I believe in free speech, but people really cross the line sometimes. Some people have no manners anymore these days. Ladies and gentlemen often don't act the part ;)avintagespirit (Lizzy)https://www.blogger.com/profile/02665343040587109666noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5465295746865231888.post-43844886096967646282011-03-24T07:00:39.878-04:002011-03-24T07:00:39.878-04:00I think I must have been living in a cosy little b...I think I must have been living in a cosy little bubble recently because I think a lot of the blog-hate stuff that I've been hearing about has completely passed me by! That said, I wholeheartedly agree with this pledge.

xx Charlotte
Tuppence Ha'penny VintageCharlottehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14247551155021625654noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5465295746865231888.post-13061263144201940132011-03-23T20:50:14.214-04:002011-03-23T20:50:14.214-04:00Well said Baroness!Well said Baroness!Divahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10369983201266077864noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5465295746865231888.post-59825903138223983332011-03-23T18:34:12.563-04:002011-03-23T18:34:12.563-04:00Very well said! Bella, seems like this is an issue outside the US, as well. I had a similar upbringing. My grandparents were basically my second set of parents (I spent every weekend with them...many of the values they taught me, especially the importance of courtesy, thoughtfulness, compassion, patience, and so forth are definitely on the decline in our age).BaronessVonVintagehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09329735134543431231noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5465295746865231888.post-47439080166116368852011-03-23T14:50:31.257-04:002011-03-23T14:50:31.257-04:00I completely agree. The world would be a much more...I completely agree. The world would be a much more civil place if everyone listened with an open mind and refrained from insulting others they disagreed with. Our political discourse in the United States has fallen so far down the civility scale it's embarrassing. I know that some of the old customs needed to go so that women and others could advance, but I sincerely wish we'd held on to the manners part. My grandmothers and mother were all very intent that my sister and I learn how to behave like ladies and how to do certain things properly - which fork to use, allow elders to sit, don't speak over others, write thank you notes, etc. It all seemed a bit silly growing up, but now I am eternally grateful they passed those things down.Eileenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10273095879606906106noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5465295746865231888.post-7518269752644389812011-03-23T13:09:33.467-04:002011-03-23T13:09:33.467-04:00Fully concur!Fully concur!art deco damehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08918869259278566485noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5465295746865231888.post-81979754360801797022011-03-23T11:03:48.976-04:002011-03-23T11:03:48.976-04:00This is great and I agree wholeheartedly! This is great and I agree wholeheartedly!Laurenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16474033571158410724noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5465295746865231888.post-88818855349459007282011-03-23T09:55:21.432-04:002011-03-23T09:55:21.432-04:00I believe everyone should follow those rules. I love to blog because my blog (and so many other blogs that I read) are my happy place. I know that if I have a rough day or I'm feeling down and bummed out, I can log on and look at beautiful things and meet fascinating people. I especially agree with the part about being able to express disagreement in a kind way without being judged and torn down for it. I hope that more people take this pledge too. I know I will! Thank you for sharing! xoxoBrittany_Va-VoomVintagehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04377031677999463069noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5465295746865231888.post-86300881212411032362011-03-23T09:25:53.070-04:002011-03-23T09:25:53.070-04:00Beautiful sentiment!Beautiful sentiment!Eviehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03019171892695902270noreply@blogger.com
