Some vintage is like wearable art. A friend of mine thought the design on the front panel of this 1930s dress looked very much like an Aubrey Beardsley illustration. True! For me, the sleeves are what make the garment pretty as a picture.
Gorgeousness! If I was more competent with the old sewing machine, I think I would have to experiment with a square scarf and setting it into a skirt and part bodice to create a similar effect.... perhaps one day! Tupney x
