Holly Jolly Dolly

So, I *finally* think I'm feeling the festive spirit.  The recent arrival of this 30s frock, which I've dubbed the "holly jolly dolly" dress, due to its slightly Christmas-y print and colour scheme and its sweet little collars, may have something to do with my yuletide mood.  It's really too cold for my little open-toed green remix 'Anita shoes, but sometimes attempts at colour coordination take precedence :).

  4. Thank you!! Miss Rayne, YES, I should have learned my lesson re: posing without a coat LAST year. Luckily, I got my shot quickly before ducking inside and donning a sweater :)

  7. Such a sweet look! It is a merry Christmas, even if the chiffon/lawn has to hang out under the cardigan.

  9. I know what you mean about taking a bit to get into the Christmas mood. I don't think I'm quite there this year, but I'm sure that once we get to my parents' house I'll feel differently!

Your dress is perfect for Christmas, but you'd need a pair of wellies with it if you were in Kansas--it's raining right now and we're supposed to get snow tomorrow. Brrr!

  11. Thank you thank you thank you, gals! I don't know WHERE our snow is, but it's bone dry right now. That's probably why I hadn't been feeling the very merry, but I am NOW!

Lauren, well, I have green wellies, so they'd at least still match the dress :)
