Hope my American blog friends enjoyed their Thanksgiving dindins! Cranberry goes well with more than turkey, y'know. To whit, I think the cranberry details at the neck and sleeves of this 20s silk dress work rather well. Gobble, gobble!

ReplyDeleteSo pretty! I love those cranberry ruffles! Stunning outfit!!!
ReplyDeleteSuch a gorgeous dress, a stunning ensemble and a lovely lady!
ReplyDeleteThanks, gals! In retrospect, after consulting with some 30s experts, we think this frock may even be from around 1931-ish. Seems like a "cusper" dress at any rate--from 1929-1932??? I do love burgundy/cranberry, etc, so the ruffles are an added treat!
ReplyDeleteyou look stunning, jill.
ReplyDeleteThank you, darling!
ReplyDeleteHow gorgeous! yes, it does seem to have those in between eras details and look that I love most ...There is something about late 20's early 30s designs that is very special and unique. I am loving it!
ReplyDeleteAmazing dress. Love the purse aswell. You look impeccable - again!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely stunning! I might have to borrow the look of this dress by pairing these two colours together in an upcoming sewing project! I just love it!
