How funny, I was thinking about how I need some 40s style overalls in my life just the other day! Must have something to do with it being gardening season!
Those first ones are so cute! I totally would not have thought to make up overalls and a blouse in such similar fabrics, but I like it! Mental note for the next time I need fabric- sometimes quilt companies have different colorways of vintage repro 30s fabrics.
I have that second pattern! Haven't made it up yet. :)
Unbelievable! I actually saw this VERY sewing pattern at my favorite Vintage shop on Saturday. The only reason I didn't buy it was because it wasn't for sale (the owner intends to use it to make up pieces in vintage fabric). However, this style is precisely what I'm looking for so I can make up a jumpsuit/set of overalls that will actually be long enough for me.
Roz, Eva Dress has a reproduction of this pattern in multisize! I couldn't find it, but a friend shared the link with me, so now I can share :) http://evadress.com/1930.html

I've been wanting a pair of overalls for a while, now - but not for gardening, for lindy hopping. ;]
