Blondell's Dream Boat Fashions

Can't quite decide which is cuter: 1930s Joan Blondell or these 30s nautical inspired togs?

Don't you just LOVE the 3-D rope detail on Joan's sweater?! I adore that swabbing photo, as well. Too too cute!

Definately Joan blondell, though she might come second the Rayne shoes I just bought, navy suede with rope and gilt nautical charms.

I so adore 1930s sailor styles; and put Joan Blondell in them and they get even cuter!! Ginger Rogers in "Follow The Fleet" is my favorite muse for channeling 30s nautical.

love that dress with the birds all over it...very uh Hitchcockian! Tippi trying to sail away from her troubles- maybe not the best solution...
